Alucard's point of view

It has been over 20 years since the death of my master, Sir Integra Wingates of Hellsing. After the battle that was taken place half a century ago, the few last living original vampires made a truce between the Hellsing organization, where both species were to live without the fear of being hunted, but if one member were to cross that line they would suffer the consequences of each opposite race. This mutated the vampires only to feed off of lamb or goat blood, which is why most of them stayed in the old country as farmers or merchants. There has been peace since then, but of course the Vatican of special order 13 are still on the hunt, but it has been hard for them to track one down since the rates of gouhls and massacre rates have dramatically decreased.

Since there was peace, my former master, Integra, felt the necessary to end the Hellsing Organization, and after her death, since no one was next in line as the head of Hellsing, my contract between the family was finally voided. I was free. The Hellsing mansion became a home for orphans, all the soldiers retired, and Seras became her own master.

I let her go, made her drink my blood so she could be free, she was hesitant at first, but she drunk. She asked what would become of me, but I told her not to worry, for I need some time on my own. The last I heard of the police girl, is that she still lives, in the now, orphanage, were she takes care of the children and protects them (I've even heard she has found a mate).

Fifteen years since I've last seen her, And since then I've been traveling all around the world . Watching as time passes. I've been through all of China, the Mediterranean, Africa, Egypt, Russia, and Canada. I have just crossed over to America, and made my way up to New York. I don't know what I plan on doing there, but what does it matter now.

Present day

Narrator's point of view

Today was a long stressful day of work for you, you were only a bar tender, but you had to work extra hours if you wanted that week off vacation. Sure it was stressful, having to deal with drunk men who tried to hit on you, calming down riots, or even just dealing with the depression some men let off when they came from work fired or worn out. Your boss was a nice older gentleman, who always dressed classy when serving beer. He always offered you days off and extra pay, but you couldn't take advantage of him, plus you were to stubborn with pride to receive pay without work.

You walked to your car relieved that the day was finally over, it was two in the morning, but you didn't count it as being the next day till you fell asleep and woke up later on. The engine made a soft rumbling noise, taking some of the stress away, you turned on the radio and changed the station to (fav. Radio station) to keep you from falling asleep on the road. New York is a busy city especially in the night, but you didn't live anywhere close to the heart of the city. The noise and the lights bothered you, so you lived in Manhattan, in an area called Gramercy Park, it's a nice quieter place.

Your home was around 40 minutes away, but you didn't mind the long drive, it was soothing to you. "Home sweet home, here I come...", you said to yourself as you noticed you were half way there. Since you lived alone, you made good money to support yourself, and had extra cash to spare, which of course came from the generous tips of being a bar tender.

You sung along to your favorite song that had begun to play on the radio, and lets just say you were talented. Singing was your escape of reality, it's the reason you came to New York, but like all people with dreams, they never came true. You were only 24, still young and fruitful, but you began to lose hope when you've been repeatedly rejected.

The closer you got to your home, the more you felt that you were being followed, it sent chills up your spine. You decided to take your mind off it, by focusing on the radio, you were only 5 minutes away, but then you realized they were playing the song you hated the most. "Ugh, why would they even play this, it's not even good, and yet they replay it all the time", you said to yourself, as you took your eyes off the road to change the station, and then when least you had expected it... THUD!!!!.... You had just ran over something or someone.

You immediately stopped the car and hopped out to see what you hit ( the streets were always empty in the early mornings), "Oh shit, please don't let it be a human", you said to yourself with worry as you ran to the object.

Reader's point of view

My mind was in shock, once I got to the disorienting body, "Oh god, please be well", I said out loud to myself, as I bent down to see if he was breathing or not. I flipped him over to were his back now laid on the ground. Quickly, I bent down and placed my two fingers on his neck to see if he had a pulse, but nothing, his body felt like ice to my skin. "No, what have I've done", I said to myself and began to shed warm tears. Without thinking, I dragged the corpse on my back, back to my car. Carefully, I placed him In the back seats lying down, he was a very tall man, so he had his knees bent.

The rest of the drive home was quiet and depressing for me, the thought of me running him over kept replaying over and over. Once I got home, I ran to the door to unlock it and turn on the lights, after that I went back to the car, and dragged the body back inside and laid him on the couch. I locked the house door in back of me and slid to the ground and began to gently weep in sorrow.

Alucard's point of view

I wondered through out the county once it got dark, and found myself in Manhattan, the night was still young for me. I sat down on a low bridge to listen to the night's symphony, when just below I heard a car pass by, and in that car was a girl singing. I grinned at the youths talent, she had such a voice. "My, what a pleasant voice this child has", I said reading my thought out loud, "I should go meet her and tell her in person". I chuckled darkly as I went down there to meet the mysterious girl.

I went up ahead of her and stood in the middle of the road, patiently waiting for her. Then I saw the head lights, and noticed that she wasn't slowing down. I waited there to see what the girl would do, but soon I regretted my decision. She trampled over my spine, and left me there paralyzed.

I slowly healed myself, and thought to myself in anger, " how dare she that swine try to make road kill of me, why I'll show...". I was cut off when I heard the vehicle stop, and foot steps running towards me. I could smell the girl's fear as she approached me, and it came to me she did not mean it on purpose. I decided to play along and see where this would take me.

Once she got to me, she quickly knelt down and flipped me on my back. Even though my eyes were still closed, I used my third eye to see everything. This girl was beautiful, even with the look of terror on her face, she had (e/c) eyes, (h/l) (h/c) (h/s) hair, gorgeous lips, and an adorable nose. I felt her two fingers touch my neck, and I quickly noticed the tears streaming down her face, as she found out I had no pulse.

I was dragged along to her vehicle and placed inside on the back seats, "where is she taking me?",  I wondered. The drive was short and quiet, she was in shock. Once we stopped she ran outside and went to go open her home. She came back and again dragged me inside, and placed me on the couch. Then the room got quiet, and all I could hear were her quiet sobs.

Narrator's point of view

You got up off from the floor, and dried your tears, "well the only thing to do now is call the cops and ambulance", you said to yourself as you walked over to your phone. Just before you were about to reach it, your phone flew straight across the room, and shattered against the wall. At that point you were now more terrified than ever. The room began to darken and glow a scarlet red, which it seemed to be originating from the corpse. "Oh god", you whispered to yourself, fear had now taken control of you, you ran to the front door, but it was kept shut.

"I wouldn't do that girl, if I were you", the once believed dead corpse began to rise, and faced you with a smile of insanity.

Did Reader-chan seriously run over Alucard...did he just not notice the car speeding towards him..."Oh there's a car coming...I'll wait here."...Alucard is weird.
